It’s almost the end of 2015. A quick look back of this year, it was a fun and exciting one. Looking back to January 2015, Benny was one of the cast of the Ontario Public Service Announcement ad #whowillyouhelp as part of the “Stop sexual violence” campaign. The one minute video racked up over 2.5 million views on YouTube, and near 1.4 million view in Chinese YouKu platform.
In the new year, Benny looks forward to continuing to craft his skills and hopefully has more opportunities to work as an actor.
With this note, we would like to wish you and your loved ones a happy and wonderful holiday season!
Happy New Year!
Benny just landed a role in “Incorporated”, a pilot for the futuristic espionage thriller from Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s Pearl Street Productions, CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions. Set in a dystopian future where companies have unlimited power, Incorporated centers on Ben Larson, an executive who is forced to change his identity in order to infiltrate a cutthroat corporate world and save the woman he loves. In the process, he will take on the entire system – with deadly consequences. Sean Teale (Reign) will star as Ben Larson, the lead in this show.
Benny will be on set shooting for this next week.
Last week Benny worked onset for the CW (CBS) pilot “Cheerleader Death Squad“.
Benny arrived the location around 6:00am for an early start day and he was thrilled to be able to work with the lead actor Alan van Sprang, as well as other very talented actors on the show. He enjoyed the experience very much and would love to be able to return to the show should opportunity presents itself.
This Public Service Announcement video was done by Ontario Government as part of the action plan to stop sexual violence and harassment when you see it. This video, upon releasing to general public, was tweeted by the Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and major media outlets and soon became viral both on social media and on YouTube. In this video, Benny portrayed a teenager who deliberately and inappropriately shared girlfriend’s photos with friends.
Above the video is a screenshot of the page which was updated on Ontario Provincial Government’s website on March 6, 2015, urging everyone to join the conversation #WhoWIllYouHelp.
